The Profi II ASM FE is essentially the same as the Profi II ASM,
except it features a Push-Button Cam lock for applications where
street driving is anticipated. The orange push button that says
"Press" is necessary to retain street
legality and so an EMT that shows up at an accident scene
will know how to release your restraint. The FE version also features
sewn in Bolt-In Tabs for the lap belt attachment points, for use
in applications where space is limited. Because of the sewn in end
fittings, the Flex Belt lap is not available in this harness. It
is designed to be used as a four point system. For this reason it
is perfect for use in Driver Education cars or any other application
where stock seats are retained. A seat that was not originally desiged
for use with a racing restraint should never be modified to accept
an sub strap.
The Profi II ASM incorporates Schroth's legendary ASM (Anti-SubMarining)
technology that is the only thing like it on the market. ASM is
an extra fold of material sewn into the inboard shoulder belt that
elongates at a different rate than the outboard belt. This allows
your upper torso to twist slightly. On the rebound phase, your torso
is planted firmly back in the seat rather than allowed to slide
under the lap belt.
You can add a single or dual sub strap to make this belt into a
5 point or 6 point at any time. The only thing you cannot do with
this belt is use a HANS device. The HANS device and the ASM do not
work together.
The lap belts provided with this harness are only available in the
Bolt-In style as they are most commonly needed in setups requiring
street legality. If you need different setups, please call or email
us. These are available in both Pull-up and Pull-down.
The Shoulders come ready to be wrapped around a roll-bar. Snap or
Bolt attachments can be purchased separately. Because of the ASM,
these belts are sided. Be sure to install them correctly: the ASM
fold should be on the Inboard shoulder belt.
Please note, Cam locks can be swapped, so if you are interested
in this harness with a standard RFR cam lock, it can be purchased
separately.

Substraps play an integral role in harness safety, especially in
harnesses without ASM. If yours is frayed or has been comprimised
you need a new one. If you have a 4 point competition style harness
with ASM and are looking to upgrade, the substrap is the easiest
way to satisfy most sanctioning bodies.
Available in all colors and configurations. Dual subs can be converted
to bolt in using a sub-strap bolt in kit. Single subs have sewn
in end fittings and cannot be changed.

These brackets are available in a few different versions. There
are 20 and 45 degree brackets, both with two different hole sizes.
They are usually only used on sub straps but can be used any where
the angles are necessary. We do not recommend using them for laps
or shoulders unless your specific situation demands it.
Please be advised, you'll need to purchase the corresponding reinforcement
plate if you are bolting these to sheet metal. These are sold as
a kit containing four of each bracket and the necessary bolts and
washers.

These are replacement Anti-sub straps for Schroth's Hybrid Style
harnesses. You cannot use these with any harness that was not purchased
as a Hybrid. These are strictly to replace damaged sub straps, or
for applications where adjusters do not fit.
