The RECARO Speed S combines the lateral hold in the backrest of
the standard Speed seat model with a more comfortable seat cushion
that is less pronounced. This allows for much easier access in lower
cars, such as the Camaro or Mustang.
The
sporty shape “gloves” the occupant to the seat, but
also offers easy entry and exit for more convenience.t's a seat
that is very unique.
It can be a comfortable touring seat and at the same time it has
support that will enable you to do the twisty bits, autocross, hill
climbs, etc.
It
is easy to get in and out of the seat. For those of you with 2-door
cars, the seat has a release on both sides for your convenience.
You
can tilt the seat forward from either side.
It features a back reclining adjuster knob on both sides for infinite
seat back adjustments, as opposed to all the other seats we carry
which have a single lever that fits into preset cogs to recline.
This seat allows you to use your stock 3-point seat belts or any
4-point harness restraint. (There isn't a sub belt slot.) We recommend
the Schroth Profi II - FE

The
pass-through in the headrest for the harnesses is wide enough for
the 3" webbing on the competition harnesses.
The
bottom bolsters do not hinder use of any lap belt type.
The seat will fit driver's with up to a 36" waist.
There are many different upholstery options. (See below) You can
definitely find a color combo to fit your taste and interior.
